My college major is Criminal Justice: Law Enforcement Technology. This major focuses deals with conducting investigations at the crime scene and on the computer.
The major blends coursework in forensic science, computers, technology, law, and crime prevention. The major focuses on analyzing the elements of crime and applying investigative and scientific methods to crime scene investigations. Also, learning about the numerous technologies used in the criminal justice field and gaining experience in evidence collection and documentation, forensic analysis, and maintaining chain of custody when dealing with evidence discovered at the crime scene are focused on in the major as well.
